The name Ribfest sounds like a great time...The weather was great. Country music in the background. Disappointed by the small number of actual rib vendors. 6 or 7....Really? 60 competitors who smoked and barbecued some great looking and smelling ribs, brisket and chicken. It's a shame that they were not allowed to sell or give away any products to attendees. These had to be served to certified judges only. Why? We were told that all leftovers were given to local food banks....that's a good thing...but why not sell to the pay... read more
