My wife and I had a wonderful afternoon sailing the Hudson out of Kingston with Capt. Dan and mate Ian. Both are experienced sailors and the boat, a stable and fast trimaran, is well-kept and comfortable. We were fortunate to have a beautiful day and decent wind. Views on the River of the valley and Catskills are gorgeous. Snacks and beverages were also first rate (Including bruschetta made with tomatoes from Dan’s farm and a lovely red wine he makes). We plan to return next year. and bring friends next time .
My boyfriend and I did the sunset sailing package for my bf's 23rd birthday Wow, what a great experience! Impressed that Dan has 51 years of sailing experience. We felt safe and comfortable. The boat was clean, and the net was fun to sit on. (We were late cause of unexpected parade traffic then accident traffic) they were very patient and professional. This review is long overdue. Had the pleasure of sailing with Dan and Ian this past summer and it was so fabulous in every way my husband and I are going to make it an annual event with the family. It’s relaxing, fun and the vistas are incredible. Their hors d’oeuvres were super fresh and delicious which was an unexpected surprise. Highly recommend
Our family had the pleasure of enjoying a 2 hour sunset cruise over Labor Day weekend 2020. There were 4 adults in our group and the captain and one crew member, but the boat could have easily handled another 2 adults. The views of the Hudson were beautiful and Dan was a trove of information about the area and the other boats. The boat is spotless and the Hudson very calm. Best of all, it was a safe, fun, relaxing experience during a pandemic. We are hoping to make this a regular summer event!
