My family was driving from Maine home to Indiana when our transmission went out at 11:30 PM on a Saturday. Al's shop was one of the only ones open on Sunday and he was able to diagnose the bad transmission immediately and gave us options of how to get it replaced. We opted for a remanufactured transmissions from a location he recommended and the entire process was completed by Thursday afternoon. Called in the morning with a specific problem. Was given a time for the same day and arrived a little late. Was understanding. Fixed my car and more. Didn’t try to charge me more then the work was done in fact was much less then expected. Was very very nice and explained everything. Shortly after I left the owner (I assume) called to make sure that my car was running well and that nothing was wrong. Would definitely recommend for transmission issues.
Great place, service, and people. Really saved me driving home on a Sunday. Didn't cost me anything to look and fix my leaky transmission. Will definitely recommend to eveyone.
