We hired Michelangelo based on a recommendation from our architect. His team cut corners wherever possible. All 3 sinks he installed for us started to leak within 6 months. We have a plumber on call. He said they used clay instead of a properly fitting washer. Our HVAC guy who came in 2 weeks after we opened doors said too obvious of a mistake was made, either due to sabotage or pure ignorance work by an unqualified person. We hired Michelangelo based on a recommendation from our architect. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. Communication was a major issue, everything had to go through his assistant, who was not well versed in construction matters, which caused repeated delays and confusion. He was simply overbooked! Shortly after starting our project, Michelangelo claimed a worker injury and disappeared from our job for three weeks. Michelangelo used to do great work, he handled a project for us about 4 years ago that went well, but he seems to have taken on far too much since then. I am embarrassed to have recommended him. If you decide to work with him, because of his attractive pricing, insist on a detailed contract that includes a firm completion date and clearly stated penalties for delays.
