A Huson Victim This shop is aweful. I had them change my timing belt and I got the vehicle back a week late. When they gave me my car, the power steering pump was bad. They bent the pulley on the PS pump. They pinched the valve cover gasket which made oil leak down the back of the block. They stripped the bolt on the alternator frame. They stripped alot of screws holding the splash shield. They must have broke my lower timing belt cover, because the one they installed was not for my vehicle. Excellent Service This is by far the best automative place I have ever been. They are honest and always priced right. I moved to Austin a year and a half ago and my biggest concern was having to find another auto repair place! Finding an honest one like Hudson is a very rare find indeed! I have taken my BMW into them a few times and every time they have gotten the work done quickly, effeciently and for the right price. Excellent Maintenance Service and Professional Repairs I have been going to the Hudson Automotive for several years for maintaining and taking care of my European and Japanese cars. The folks at Hudson have put me on a maintenance plan and my cars have been running like a clock work. From time to time we needed some repairs on the cars and the repair shop came through with flying colors in terms of diagnosis and proper repairs the first time. Excellent Job with Personalized service For my European car I have an Audi A8 L Quattro and my car was over heating. The folks at Hudson Automotive took the time to isolate the issue. They had good knowledge of my Audi which gave me warm and fuzzy that my car will be fixed properly. I got my car back 3 weeks ago and it is running great. The original problem was a broken thermostat. While they were changing the thermostat, they also changed the timing belt, water pump and rollers to save me labor costs.
