The kids had a great time searching for gems. Its become a tradition that whenever we visit the mountains, we need to find a gem mining place. This was our first time at Huck's. Its a great little spot to kill some time and watch your kids smile from the excitement of finding gems. We have a collection of jars filled with gems from everywhere we stayed with the year and place we stopped at.
What a cute, fun place. We had a ball mining for gems and all four of us went home with a big ol bag, including rubies, emeralds, amethysts, aquamarine, tigers eye, smoky quartz and obsidian! The gift shop has lots of unique items and good prices. Cute t shirts too. The gal who runs it is just as sweet as she can be. Knowledgeable too! The man assisting her is also friendly and enjoyable to talk to. Just a fun experience all the way around, in no small part to these two kind folk. Thank you so much!
We had the best time. Owners were very attentive and helpful. Kids were able to open their Geodes and had fun in the shop. We will definitely be back. 10/10
Such an amazing experience! We found tons of Ruby's and emeralds, a sapphire, smokey quartz, aquamarine, tigers eye, rose quartz...the list goes on. Katie was so sweet and helpful. Wonderful experience!!!
