I admit sometimes in the past, the staff has not been the easiest. And now I have seen a change. I know they had experience call offs, leaving them short staffed at times. As far as the dr. Huckenstein, he does not rush his patients, and he is very thorough with his exams, and definitely explains well and listens well. I’ve been seeing him for about 3 years.
I had an appointment for today. The staff says I don't have an appointment, my appointment is two months from today, but I found my appointment card at home. My appointment card says it's supposed to be today. I took the afternoon off work to go to it and now I'm sitting at home. They're not very good about communicating with you. Has no regard for patient wishes and this doctor has his own agenda. Did not return after initial visit or perform lab tests that were coded with a diagnostic code that was contradictory to what I stated in my wellness check
I have been a patient of his for many years now. Even though wait times are usually long, I find him to be a very caring, invested doctor. He takes his time with each and every patient and you are never rushed out the door.
