We lived here for 3 years only initially planning to do one year and get our feet on the ground in the city and move somewhere else. We ended up liking it so much we stayed! Fantastic location for newcomers to Columbus. You can meet all your needs within walking distance. Easy walk to the grocery store, easy walk up to OSU. Very centrally located, right by the park. This is such a fantastic apartment building, I can’t recommend it enough. The amenities, with the rooftop pool and the exercise room are amazing and the building is so well run. All the staff are so friendly and the building is kept up really well. Any time I’ve submitted a maintenance request the issue has been fixed within a day.
I was a resident in this building for almost two years and had the most wonderful experience. Everybody involved with this company went above and beyond and I never had any issues, even with breaking my lease early for a job relocation. My two favorite parts of this apartment that I will miss greatly are the covered/safe parking and the rooftop pool with great views. It was the perfect place for a quiet piece of paradise.
Apartments are about $500 more than similarly sized apartments nearby. Couldn't justify that amount just for "nicer finishes". It's also very close to the Axis nightclub so weekend noise may be an issue. Nice pool, staff; This company with its buildings are definitely pushing prices higher in the area. I suppose that's both good and bad.
There is truly nothing like Hubbard Park Place – the amenities and staff are absolutely first class. Having lived here for six years I have nothing but fond memories of my time at HPP. It is a safe, secure, and quiet building in the heart of the Short North. Only a few steps from beautiful Goodale Park and some of the best restaurants/bars in Columbus. Living at HPP was one of the best decisions I have made and would recommend it to all, young or old, it is truly one of a kind.
