Beautiful place but expensive. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you go to UC. They charge you for a full year over 11 months and their timeline doesn’t align with the school’s calendar. If you leave for a coop, they charge you fees to re-let to someone else and they’re not flexible. I offered to pay for an extra week so my daughter could finish the semester and they threatened to charge us a $2,000 holdover fee for one day plus the next student’s first month rent of $1,600! Very pleasant and informative experience!
If you’re planning on living in the hub do not get parking your car will get broken into had it happen twice. Amenities are packed 75% of the time but room situations are nice.
