Five stars for Hualani’s and not the polite checkbox kind of five stars. The kind that come with a full stomach, a raised glass, and the quiet realization that you just had one of those nights you will be talking about for years. We did not make it easy on them. 3.5 stars. Not the best restaurant in Kauai, but the kitchen is. Excellent filet mignon and sea bass. Reasonably-priced wines by the bottle (not by the glass). Good wine selection. Nice view of an ocean. Plain decor and scenery. Someone needs to try a lot harder--lots of short grass is not trying, unless it's a putting green. Views are to die for. Great food and good service. The fish tacos and the fish and chips are excellent. And I always have to order the Mai Tai.
Delicious food with a wonderful view!
Cancelled dinner at another restaurant so we could return two nights in a row. Could be the best food on the island. Beautiful restaurant and view. Lauren was excellent both nights. Whiskey and wine selections outstanding.
