We bought a ******** Water Heater from HTP, Inc. and in the two years since it was installed it has set off our Carbon Monoxide alarms, randomly turned itself off multiple times and during this Thanksgiving weekend it went off while we were out of the house and won't go back on again. I purchased a home with HTP products already installed. The home has a ******** Boiler and ********** indirect hot water tank. Both manufactured by HTP. Both products failed within warranty limits. The ******** Boiler is a "lemon" to say the least. The ********** has been leaking for years (from a valve and the tank) I called HTP warranty dept. The "warranty" is a SCAM! If you look into other manufacturers' warranties for boilers and water heaters you will find the same criteria regarding original ownership.
