HT Design made a very strong impression on me before and during delivery. Tom was responsive, honest, and helpful throughout the buying process. I cannot recommend these enough. Per their story; they resold other people's chair and then realized they knew the market better. This started their journey to work directly with the factories in China to build the theatre seats with the features they want. And the videos and hilarious lab coat is awesome. I purchased 4 chairs and they are fantastic. You also get to talk directly with their main sales person who is a pleasure.
I received my Waveland a few days ago. It was a special order because it is a single seat and unattached at either side. It surpasses my expectations. It is very comfortable. I am only 5'5". Ordinarily, this presents an issue with the headrest fitting. Not a problem here. The adjustable headrest is terrific and works for me. I have no complaints.
In what is a very crowded, but also very niche market, HT Design stands out for a few reasons. First, customer service (pre-sale) -- after doing all of my requisite research, I still had questions about these seats... mainly because they're a smaller player I'd never heard of, but seemed to have a lot of value (and quality) for the $. Bought the HR Octane flex sofa plus the extended warranty in 2023 from Theater Seat Store. In late 2025 the leather started peeling. Submitted a repair claim which was denied. Buyer beware when purchasing anything from this company!!!
