My partner and I stayed at this hotel twice and it was a nightmare each time. The building is old and beautiful, but the management is impolite, and discriminated my partner and I for our disabilities. The bedsheets are worse then what army men use for their cots, and it feels like sand paper. The photos you will see attached was from our second stay and yes... in both rooms we stayed, they apparently don't know how to clean grout or use bleach to kill the mold... safe to say we didn't shower. This was my second time at this special place to stay while in Montreal. It is like a home away from home. The staff are wonderful and the location is excellent. I feel it is better to stay here than downtown. But if you want to get downtown you can easily walk or take the great safe metro across the street. Buses as well. There is a small grocery store less than two blocks away. Many places to eat close by. The rooms are very clean and most have a fridge. The morning coffee is really good!
