My mother needed treatment for an abscess from diverticulitis. Because there were no hospital beds open in our area (Wausau/Antigo/Merrill) she was taken to St. Vincent. There were some excellent nurses, aids and technicians and that is why this hospital got even 1 star. The rest of our experience didn't rate any stars. After the initial procedure was completed, she saw the doctor once on the day she was to be released. The doctor was supposed to be there so I could talk to them when I picked her up and they never showed up.... read more
Would not recommend this hospital at all. Had to bring my mother to the ER and the doctor and staff we’re very rude and not caring at all.Dr Bryan Stoppenbach does not have a bedside manner at all. Very, very rude to my elderly mother. He’s just a young whippersnapper that needs a lot of learning from older doctors. The nurses and staff must be taken right after him. Highly not recommended.
