Call never can speak with anyone always on hold. Never a person to assist you. Can't even get a nurse to return your call when needed. Called in the wrong medication for me three times. What is going on over there. No one is communicating with anyone.
I've been a patient of Dr. Valenzuela for years - even before he joined HSHS. He is a caring doctor - rare to find these days. He takes the time to get to know me, my family, and making sure my quality of life as a MS patient is there. I have recommended him to peers that have struggled with MS or obtaining a diagnosis as I know he helps to advocate for his patients. My husband, Doug, has been a patient of Dr. Reuben Valenzuela for several years. Dr. V is very thorough, compassionate, and kind. His passion is helping his MS patients live a comfortable and dignified life. He is always looking for new ways to make our MS life better. He is top notch!
The Doctors are good but when I try to call the office they never answer
HSHS Neurological Center, and specifically Dr. Rueben Valenzuela, provide top-notch medical care. Dr. Valenzuela is well prepared regarding the treatment and side effects of my disease (multiple sclerosis). He listens, responds with easy to understand answers, and is very caring. I consider him to be a very important member of my medical team and appreciate his vast expertise.
