I was sent home on hospice with no other options after cancer has destroyed my throat and a massive infection that is not curable and few other things that are not curable, after talking to my drs and my admitting hospitalist stated it was time to go on hospice continuing to go to the hospital is no longer anything they can do other than antibiotics and pain control which is great but being in medicine my whole adult life I don’t like to waste resources so I agree hospice is the right move, we elected to use HSHS since I’ve ... read more
