Poor communication and lack of accountability. Load was booked as first come, first serve and reconfirmed for 8:00 AM, but the receiver later refused to unload and said the appointment was 5:00 PM. Broker stopped responding to calls and messages, and dispatch had no answers. Driver was forced to wait and incur detention and reefer fuel expenses due to broker error.
