I completed my taxes online and then had an H & R agent review my taxes. I paid extra to have this completed. When they returned by taxes for me to review they billed me for more money. The office that looked at my taxes could not figure out how to take this extra fee off. I waited over 3 weeks and they could not figure it out. So, then the office charged me another fee for them to do them in their office and send them to me, which I had to pay if I wanted my taxes back, so I paid it. All they care about is getting their fees. They don't care about trying to get your max refund or trying to get you any tax breaks or write offs. I don't think they train their employees well at all. It is never easy to get ahold of anyone on the customer service line and when you finally do they give you the run around our say they have to transfer you too another department only for the same thing to happen again. You will be better off using an online service or learning to do it yourself.

I had a appointment with H & R Block to file my taxes. I explained to the senior tax analyst, at the Highway 96, Franklin, TN office, that I had previous tried to file online and was unsure of the result I received stating I owed money this year, and in previous years I always received a refund, so I wanted a professional to make sure it was correct before I filed. My tax specialist in office was amazing. She was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately I could not say the same for the their corporation. I filed February 1st and was told I’d receive it 21 days after filing. March 5th was their promise date. When I did not receive anything I had to call and talk to 6 different people and no one knew why. I kept getting transferred and was on hold for 2 hours just to be hung up on. This was the most HORRIBLE experience i've had with a company maybe ever. I hired Delia online to do my taxes and she was responsive for the most part for about a week or two and I sent her my documents. After about a few messages I continued to message her in order to ensure that my taxes were going to be done properly and she did not ever respond to me again. Normally I would file my own taxes but with two daughters in college I wanted to be sure that everything was documented correctly. I trusted H & R Block Advisors in Andover, MA. I was first quoted between $150 - $195 but once the advisor finished and told me the cost would be $350. This was a pretty simple return, the tax advisor apologized and explained this was not his pricing but controlled by H&R Block. h&R block is the worst to deal with.sturgis SD.owner .is very rude the Emerald card service is the worst I ever felt with .they rude they lie to you the will even cuss you out .and that is their supervisors .as well as employees .i won't be using h&R ever again I used an for 30 years not any more I won't

I am currently fighting to get the program to work. I have been a customer of the downloadable program for years and the customer support has never been best but this is the first year that it is impossible to get through to technical support (5 hours 4 calls and counting). This is after misleading advertising (it look like "Free for state" and was "Fees for state." UnSolicited Spam/ Marketing is Unacceptable. This business practice is Shady and any corporation that Does not have a way to Opt Out via any online account is Wrong. One is Only aware of this Issue when one gets this Unwanted Spam! It should be Unacceptable that my PII data is Sucked into a Vortex of a database for the sole purpose of Exploitation.
