I would love to tell you about my experience. How your staff had my tax papers filled out and sitting in the office for almost 3 weeks. Or How THEY changed my address when it hasnt changed in over 10+years. Or how THEY changed my marital status. Or the best one! The part where I had to show up in person to get a response from the staff in office, only to be there for an hour(simple tax form) because in their own words "i doesn't know what I'm doin" (yes another employee had to assist them) I would love to share with you. Never once been to an H&R Block appointment that’s been on time…… 20 mins late so far and no where to sit. Next year I’m definitely just paying an accountant who will respect my time. If you plan to visit make sure you have most of your day to give them.
TERRIBLE professional competency. I had my appointment rescheduled 10 minutes beforehand due to them having booked me in without a US specialist, and then arrived to the rescheduled appointment 2 weeks later just to find out AGAIN they hadn't booked me with the proper US specialist. No notice, no solution. I'll be using more reliable and competent companies from now on and never recommending H&R
Absolutely horrendous experience. First, I signed up for an online tax expert Svetlana. Been sending messages on the portal for 3 weeks - no reply. Tried calling her H&R Block office at 633 St Clair - she never got back to me (I later found out she dropped my case without notifying me). Switching strategies, I decided to schedule an in-person appointment at the same location with Andrew. I received no confirmation of my appointment via email or phone.
