Very bad experience and unprofessional. I met with ************ 2 times spending 2 hours and still not done after being told it would be ready to sign the second time. Then the office closed end of season my taxes still werent done and no one returning my email or calls. Finally tracked them down they had been moved to a different office and no one told me. I was freaking out never did get them finished just picked them up to do somewhere else. Many wasted weeks!!!! Thanks a lot!!

The service from this office now is a negative 10. I worked with a tax pro here for a few years and he was wonderful. But this year they assigned me someone new without explaining to me and it's been nothing but a hassle. At the time I submitted documents I sent in everything. But the tax pro still missed information that I CAUGHT upon review and I AM NOT a tax professional.Then my filing got lost somehow and was never actually filed. The experience with H&R Block was horrible, stressful, and regretful.The tax advisor could not be bothered to explain a simple calculation and omitted a significant calculation, which she passively denied, but which I have in writing. I filed complaints on three occasions and have yet to received any responses to my simple questions, only hearing each time that my complaint would get escalated. My husband and I have been filing taxes with H&R block for 23 years. In the last three years, we have been treated in rude manner and each time we were told we had a penalty from *** by our tax preparer. The tax preparer has continually told ** to pay the wrong amount in estimated taxes. In March 2023, we were treated with disdain on the one hand and incompetence on the other. These people can't even read the year on a W2 before they start typing numbers into their program. I wound up owing an additional $2144.00 in taxes to the federal government. I trusted them to do quality control on the return. Their due diligence is having the customer sign the return absolving them of all responsibility. I'll be going back to doing my own taxes next year. ZI won't be snookered again.

My mom talked me into going with her to get my taxes done. Fees are sky high. My mom was charged $300 and when they ran her debit card she was charged $300 three times. She called them back several times and promised to refund the $600 but they have failed to do so after more than a month. I told her to contact her bank to report fraudulent charges by HR Block. I'll never go there again.

Last tax year we lived in an apartment. This tax year, we had purchased a townhome in late 2022 and my documents now included a **** mortgage interest statement. *** made a comment about how since we purchased our home late in the year, it probably wouldnt help us much, but next year it would be a tax advantage. They messed up my taxes back in 2020. They also messed up the amendment last year and ** still trying to get my money this year. After they messed up my amendment, they did not contact me though they had my email address and phone number. They have a promise pledge that I intend for them to keep. I want my $3800 back. I want the money back that I was supposed to be receiving for homestead that was never filed. And I want the money back that I filed my taxes with 279. I will not even given them a star - they deserve to be out of business. I had them assist with doing my taxes online and I was billed back by the *** for over $1,300.00. This is all bad enough, but this has to be the worst, worst, worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. I have now had 7 cases numbers (all escalated, what a joke) and every time I call, I get a new case number. I have probably wasted 10 hours of phone time dealing with total incompetency.
