This was my second year using H&R Block's online filing product and will never use it again.I spent hours waiting on the phone to speak with someone at H&R Block because I knew the information that their for requested for my 1099R was interpreted incorrectly. I filed my taxes on the deadline I was the last person to get mines out the way. At around 11:30pm on 04/18/2022. Went and had my taxes done because I am not that clue-y when it comes to doing them myself.I cannot complain about the service of the person who did them for me, other than the fact that they entered the wrong information and now I am being penalized by the *** for not paying them?I now have to do the leg work after paying them 150 dollars for a service they messed up on.I tried calling, leaving messages and emails on several occasions prior to the *** now contacting me and could never get a hold of anybody or get a response... read more
Lost my job due to covid 19.. got covid 19 unemployment.,... HR BLOCK did my taxes... Now am being audited over covid 19 unemployment,... paid for peace of mind services that would take care of audits for *****.... hr block did absolutly nothing about this service and pretty much stole money from me.. its been a nightmare since.... something so simple and a service paid and hr block dont do nothing..... Company is a sham.....also as an investor (not financial advice) be very careful about this company....
***************************** in *************** SCREWED up our 2019 ** taxes by not filling out the non-resident form and/or filing me and spouse raxes together. So we got his huge tax **** for $3200 from ********. She said she called and I had to refile, bit they said they never talked to her and we had to re-do our 2019 taxes. I had to hire a tax attorney. So not only dod I pay H&R block, bit also a tax attorney. NEVER WILL USE H&R BLOCK EVER AGAIN
This company has messed up on my tax return so badly. The "Tax Specialist" put my bank information in wrong, sent it to someone else's account @ BECU ************* In Mind you I have never had association with. She also under dependents, she put my name instead of my granddaughters, with her SSN. Wrong address. Off the paper work I filled out. Purchased HR Block tax software in February. Tried to do my taxes until I ran into a software issue where it would tell me that a State form box needs to have a value in it (zero) and it would bring me to the box to enter value. I'd enter the value and it would not save, it would go back to saying error, but would not accept any value (zero or otherwise). Did not provide services as stated, forced clients to upgrade/pay more to overcome their deficiencies. There needs to be a lawsuit against them to compensate impacted clients and prevent this from happening again next year.This is not right! They should have limited the number of customers to a number they could service. 1. Online software was inadequate; missing many forms and detailed help information.2. Had my mother in law's taxes done through the ********** ** office by ****. She came and picked the paperwork up, then dropped it off completed and told my MIL that she didn't earn enough to file and didn't charge. A month later, my MIL called with a question, and the woman (who we have MET) denied ever having touched the paperwork at all, even said she never did any of the work at all this year.
