They’re fine if your taxes aren’t complicated. I had foreign income and two of the advisors looked at it and didn’t know what to do with it. They said they would reach out to someone else who knew more about it but that never happened. The end result was that I had to submit a return that got me double-taxed. I’m not a tax expert so I couldn’t do much about it but I’m pretty sure I ended up paying $2000-$3000 more than I should have. Worst experience, I called several times without a return call. Most of the time no one answers the phone. My tax return was passed around. A very high level of incompetence I feel. The uncaring attitude is throughout the office. I won’t be back and would not recommend this group to do anyone’s taxes…terrible!!!
The guy I worked with was good but the fees were much higher than the estimate they provided. I wish they would be more accurate so there is no surprise.
