They bait & switched me. Was sent an email or text saying come in and get my taxes done for $65.00. When they were done the bill was $455.00. My tax prep guy was great and he knew what he was doing. But the $65.00 skyrocketed to $455.00 in the blink of an eye. No notice, no warning. Just that will be $455.00 please and have a nice day. They did good work but used the bait and switch. Not nice.
I am beyond pleased with the service that the downtown Easton, PA location of H&R Block provided during this year's tax season. I have not used H&R Block in a number of years and I regret not using them in recent past years. From beginning to end it was a great experience. I was able to quickly and easily make an appointment online to meet with a professional in-person the next day. I do not recommend this location. My husband and I used another location near Philly for three years without any issues. This year not only did this location charge us the most and the refund was the smallest amount, but Charles our tax preparer entered our bank account information incorrectly! I had to call the IRS because the money was deposited in someone else's account and they may or may not be able to recover our funds! It also takes up to 120 days.
