I can’t say enough great things about Pamela at H&R Block in Newburyport! I was at the bank, suddenly realizing I needed copies of my 2024 tax returns and was nowhere near home. I headed over to H&R Block in hope, and Pamela went above and beyond. She immediately stopped what she was doing and got me a couple of copies in no time. Pamela, thank you again—you truly are a lifesaver!
Fast and kind
H&R blockheads. I gave them my tax information over a month before tax day. They accepted it and assigned an agent. A week later she asked for one more document which was the proof of medical insurance and I provided it. The statement was that once this was provided they would promptly complete my returns. I heard nothing so I inquired which wasn’t answered so I went to the office. They promised that it would be done, and she would confirm with the agent. Set up my appointment several days ago, understanding its post 4/15 for some business related tax matters. My person shows up 15 minutes late and complaining. She listens to my situation for 5 minutes and says she cant help, because it will take more than one hour and the branch closes for the season at 5pm today. Why on earth are they taking appointments still, and why not mention this. Also the whole place stunk like smoke, the receptionist was a busybody and didnt know anything that was going on.
