H&R blockheads. I gave them my tax information over a month before tax day. They accepted it and assigned an agent. A week later she asked for one more document which was the proof of medical insurance and I provided it. The statement was that once this was provided they would promptly complete my returns. Set up my appointment several days ago, understanding its post 4/15 for some business related tax matters. My person shows up 15 minutes late and complaining. She listens to my situation for 5 minutes and says she cant help, because it will take more than one hour and the branch closes for the season at 5pm today. This location is basically a scam. They rescheduled my appointment multiple times, then simply cancelled it and told us to drop off our paperwork because they would get to it faster this way. After dropping off the paperwork and being assured multiple times not to worry, I then called on tax day for an update, only to be told that nothing was filed and they couldn't do it. Normally I have a great experience at this location Jodi C my tax pro is awesome . Have had my taxes done here for at least the past 6 or 7 years. This year I dropped my taxes off on 03/05 and I called the office numerous times to see when they would be ready to pick up I got a text that I had an appt on 04/05 and called the office as I couldn't make that appt but was told I did not need to come in because that was the day they would start working on my taxes.
