Horrible job done by my tax agent. Not sure how Dave or David Nelson still has a job after screwing me over on my taxes an not only did he screw me over on my taxes but he also screwed me over by making the IRS send in a payment requesting another 1.8K return since someone doesn’t know how to file tax’s an do write offs. Wish I could sue this place for making me lose over 4 THOUSAND dollars for David Nelson’s screw job. Would not recommend for first time tax payers. Terrible experience. They filled my taxes out and didn't even turn them in time. I was fined 170 bucks and that doesn't even include the 300 bucks I paid them to start off. And nothing was done to help me after, terrible company and you are better to just do your taxes yourself
Last Year Dave Nelson did my tax and he was the best tax professional. I was happy with this location so I came back this year. When I tried to make an appointment online I can’t find Dave Nelson so I thought he retired but when I came in today I saw an empty table on his name on it and I was disappointed and ask the front desk lady is Dave Nelson still working here she said yes. International students, especially those who are becoming resident aliens, should avoid Larry Kress and possibly the Oakland, Milwaukee H&R branch. I had a very bad experience with him. My tax professional is Larry Kress from Oakland, Milwaukee, WI. It seems to me that he doesn't care about his clients. I went to H&R Block around March 5, 2024.
