Don't do taxes here. I've spent over 3k the past 4 years getting my taxes done with them. I was approved for a loan and an advance this year. Turns out I owed 5k from 2021. I called H&R block and they had no idea what to do. I basically had to call the IRS and get it situated myself. Why didn't H&R block tell me this before the loan and the advance? And why I am I paying all this money to get my taxes done when they don't know what they're doing? Not a complaint on this location but the company as a whole.
At the front desk, there is a very rude, proud and unprofessional employee who has no clue of good customer service. I came in to get a copy of one of my tax returns filed with them and then he goes asking embarrassing questions , and yet not solving the main problem. He kept a serious face through out the conversation. Not sure what his frustration was all about. I feel so bad that I didn't remember to get his name or check his tag( if he even had one) . Shemeaka was fantastic and has done a great job helping me understand the process while getting me back on track after years of trying to stumble through my taxes on my own the last few years.
My experience was very very poor. When I had opted for online filing, the tax pro made me come to office and was not transparent with the refund amount and charges.
