I used H&R Block in 2022 for tax filing for the state of Ohio, long story short , my tax filing agent did not know Ohio has a city tax and didn’t mention it to me- fast forward 3 years, I am hit with a $960 penalty and fees for not filing my city tax which has compounded over the years. I asked H&R Block if they can help me work around it or help pay some of it- no response. This office was a night and day contrast vs my original experience with the Wake Forest office. This office was very responsive with Janet first fielding my questions and then Schulette eventually processing my amendment. This was all needed due to an all around horrible experience at the Wake Forest office. These women were very professional and helped resolve my problems as quickly as possible. Next year I will def drive the extra distance to this office for tax prep. It will save time and frustration in the long run.
