?? The tax preparer said she can do our tax return before the due date, no need to file the extension. We uploaded everything on time, no response. Until 4/14 evening, she told us that she hasn’t looked our paperwork yet, and we have to file the extension. Also she is fully booked on 4/15, we have to come very early (which we can’t) to file the extension. Excuse me? If you are not able to do it, why take the case, and waste my time?????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IMO: Unprofessional and incompetent! I was 15 minutes early for my appt. My tax advisor was 15 minutes late. She was too busy chatting with a friend in their shared native language. Then the advisor couldn't access my documents, even though they are uploaded to my H&R Block account (and I proved this on my phone). "Oh, our systems don't talk to each other." Efficiency and quality
Possibly the worst experience I have ever had with ANY service, let alone taxes. We engaged with Carlton Thurston in early March and provided all the information he needed well in advance of the deadline. The week before they were due we chased him up to see where they were and essentially had to start from the beginning as he forgot/lost/ignored the information we previously gave him. Over the course of that week he sent 3 completely incorrect returns, making errors on citizenship, dates and currencies - at one point he gav... read more
