I recently received a letter from the ATO stating I was overpaid in a tax return completed by an accountant here. Turns out the accountant selected the wrong tax claim code for my private health insurance. I went into the office and all they could offer was an apology. I submitted a complaint online almost 4 weeks ago and haven't received a reply. I've been waiting over 2 months for my tax refund I have had no answers from anyone I'm ringing they keep handing me on to the next person and I get no answers on anything I'm so disappointed. It's just like no one cares and I'm worried if I will ever get my tax refund it's actually crazy that this is the service they provide. I'm sure being a tax company this should be one of the simplest things for them to do which they have made the most difficult thing ever
