Bita Golestani has been indispensable for our Canada & US taxes for a few years. Her ability to navigate both tax systems to maximize customer benefits is simply outstanding. I don't know what kind of tax situation would be "hard" to Bita. Much recommended.
I've been a local and loyal customer for years. I always patiently wait for my appointment time even though it's never when scheduled. I come back when things are missed. I had it today. I requested and reiterated how I wanted a cheque for my tax return and they sent us home with the H&R Block Credit card, which as a customer you need to go to the bank, set it up, get charged a lot of fees which they say is "normal". I have been getting my taxes done by Sandy Tsang at H&R Block Como Lake for several years. I always return confident that I will be treated with the utmost professionalism and courtesy. This year was no exception, and I was amazed at not only how quickly Sandy processed my return but at the refund she calculated for me. Thanks again Sandy, see you next year.
This H&R Block location, along with Bita is a complete joke. I had the pleasure to converse with Bita once (and only once) about my corporate tax return needs and that was it, I never heard from her again. All the emails I sent and voice messages I left her went unanswered. I never expected such level of unprofessionalism in this area of business. I know the management is monitoring feedback and responding to them and yet, nothing has been done to improve their quality of service and image.
Do not come to this location. Unorganized and long wait even with a booked appointment. Originally requested a separate appointment from my partner so we save time and also because we have different businesses. Arrived and someone who arrived after went through the appointment before me. They told me to wait 15 mins but ended up waiting for 45 mins. Now my partner needs to wait for my turn. Such a waste of time. Not a great service.
