Stay away these people give bad tax advice. My wife and I made an appointment to learn the difference between filing separate or jointly. The person we met with did not tell us that there are major differences such as not being able to contribute to my roth ira if I am married and file separate and make over $10,000 a year. Because I already fully funded my roth ira for 2024 This means I now either have to reallocate that to 2025 and have $0 added to my roth ira for 2024 or pay a 6% fee. Used HR block as a recommendation from my girlfriend. What a mistake that was. The tax professional didn't know anything or at the least least could not communicate that she did. when she could'nt autofill from my W2 for local taxes she just gave up and told me that she couldn't do them. I paid over $300 to not even have all of my taxes completed. Completely unprofessional and to top it off their office smelled like cat piss.
Julie is knowledgeable, kind and understanding. My situation is a bit different and Julie was the only one to go above and beyond to help me with this. Thank you Julie!!
