Very disappointing experience. The tax consultant at this office made critical errors on two occasions and attempted to shift the blame onto me, including for tax penalties she failed to inform me about. After April 15, she became completely unresponsive, despite previously assuring me she would follow up. When I contacted the office, the front desk staff was exceptionally unhelpful and unprofessional. A very dangerous firm. During a heated dispute, my tax preparer said to me “it’s your word against mine.” Exactly what you want to hear from the company responsible for representing you with the IRS.
We had a complex tax situation involving capital gains from sale of a house. This office assigned a woman who was brand new and knew very little. She even asked to be replaced by someone more experienced and was denied. A more experienced person helped, but it was a very time-consuming process. Several weeks after we completed the form, she called (just before April 15) and said the tax return had been denied and we would have to resubmit it by mail.
