I went to the Mechanicsville office. I had totally processed my 2025 taxes on paper and just needed a tax person to enter it on line by e-file. I did have a 1040, one schedule D, and one schedule B. Otherwise a basic tax. They quoted me almost $500 .00 and that did not include the state tax. I could not believe that price. I left as fast as I could. Today, I file my taxes with a service called, FreeTaxUSA. I did both my federal and state tax for $44.00. Wow, what a wonderful service. I will never use H&R Block. Their website... read more
