I returned to the H&R Block at 1020 Islington to file my 2024 taxes and once again received excellent service. The office environment was very pleasant and my thanks to Max for his tax expertise.

Do not file your tax with them. My friend and I filed my tax with them 3 months ago and now neither the lakeshore office is open neither do they pick or return the call I mailed the person who filed my tax Mr.Robert even he didn't reply us back we paid 150 dollar per person to file the tax and that's how they scam us.
In short, they made a mess of my 93-year old dad's taxes. My dad received a refund for tax year 2022...which the CRA promptly asked for in return while charging him interest in the interim. Countless threatening letters from the CRA later...we discovered that good 'ol H&R Block, "our redeemed tax experts", neglected to include a T2201 Disability Tax Credit Certificate for my mom's first full year in long term care.
