DO NOT GO HERE. They forgot to file my taxes and after not answering the phone or email for weeks i finally went in. They assured me they would have them filed that very same day free of cost. A week later - again failed to return phone calls and emails. THEY FORGOT TO FILE AGAIN. Now im here early June scrambling to file my taxes and paying out of pocket interest and late penalties with the CRA.
Extremely disappointing experience with H&R Block. The staff member who handled my case showed absolutely no professionalism or commitment to quality service. They barely gave any attention to my questions or concerns, making it feel like I was just a number rather than a client. To make matters worse, their working hours are totally inconsistent. My wife had 2 appointments cancelled and the staff didn't call to inform her that her appointments was cancelled both times. She went twice to office on Yonge just south Bloor and that is when she found out her appointments were cancelled. There excuses were they were short staff. My question why they didn't have enough staff. Is not Income Tax season. So, the staff told her she can wait for a staff to be available.
