I just called to ask how late this location of H&R block was open for, and whoever answered the phone had a very condescending tone. I will definitely go elsewhere.
What a terrible experience. I filed a simple tax return on Jan 29. The tax preparation took close to an hour, because the individual seemed unfamiliar with the software. Now it's Feb 29th and my tax are delayed. It seemed that H&R Block only submitted 3 of my 5 1099 documents. Now I have to fix it myself to avoid any delays and make sure it's done correctly. I asked about refunding my $99 tax preparation fee, and was told I needed an appointment to talk to an tax advisor. Just frustrating experience.
