I did my taxes with the Kingston Gardiners Rd HR BLOCK in 2020. They opened an account in my name with DC commerce and allowed my fee to them to be “paid by refund” although I owed that year and did not get a refund. Because of this my account with DC commerce, which HR BLOCK opened for me without telling me or giving me any information to navigate, has had an outstanding balance for over 5 years, accumulating interest in this time without my knowledge. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere! It took over 4 weeks for them to do my taxes and I handed them in, in February. Once I was able to go pick them up I paid and got my taxes, then to later check they had never been filed! Because the receptionist didn't have me sign anything. I now live about 3hrs away from Kingston and couldn't go back to sign, I was told by 3 different receptionists in a 5 hour time period they would email me and no one knew what I was talking about when I called!
