We moved from Quebec to Kingston, when it was time to do our taxes we were told This H&R block was good with Quebec taxes. Spoiler Alert, they are not. We paid something around 400$ to get our taxes done, for two persons and they didn't even send our taxes to the government of Quebec! Always been serviced as a customer, in and out inside less than 20 minutes. Never had any problems. Been using this location for 20 years. Very efficient, polite, well mannered and courteous.
They keep misfiling, and most of those who pick up the phone are extremely rude. And its such an expensive service. Dont go with the "everyone is trained" we've regularly been given wrong advice and had to correct elsewhere. I dont know why I keep going back - for the convenience of an impersonal service? Not worth it. This unit, in particular, has been notorious with wrong advice.
My last year doing taxes with H&R. Lifei was nice and everything but counted that l owned $600, almost put me in a comma. But she was so sure she is right, good l insisted on supervisor check. After that the amount dropped to $15. Oh well. She just told me: this happens,visa or Mastercard. No apologies, no discount. Charget $214 for mistake that could cost me $600. When l asked her supervisor to check it all again, because you know "this happenes", she denied as "it all was checked". Ah well l have my reasonable doubts.
