After finishing my taxes the man who prepared them took me to the front to pay. He then printed up 2 receipts and told me to sign them both. I asked why, as I have never had to do this previously, and he said it just policy. Upon reading the printed out receipt it states " • My tax pro has reviewed the Peace of Mind offer and I have declined for the following tax returns: 2023 " Problem is, I was never informed about it at all, let alone given the option to decline or not.
