I am disgusted with HRBlock. I had done my taxes here for several years and wanted continuity. Cheryl Hurt wasted a huge amount of my time. There was absolutely no continuity. She did not have access to any of my previous returns and said she could not work with me because I could not provide unmasked transcripts. So I went with my son to show him the process of doing his taxes since this is his first time. We had a tax preparer Debra Bonar we got there early so we figured we would wait a little while. But there she takes a walk in customer before us. And we had an appointment. Then while we were in the middle of our taxes her phone rides it forwarded to the front desk. Shame on me for waiting until the 11th hour to file my taxes. I arrived at the H&R Block on Baseline Rd. before 7:00pm. Other walk-ins were taken before me. I was the only black person waiting. I went to the desk to inquire why other people were deemed a priority over me. Another person waiting (who was Mexican) like all the agents and customers …yelled out.. “They’re using Mexican privilege against you!” I was shocked and embarrassed, but I have a feeling…he was speaking the truth!!!
