Bottom line: I will never do business with H&R Block again because of my experience at this specific H&R Block. This location improperly filed my wife and I’s tax return and it took them 2 hours (double the appointment time) to do it with several call backs ultimately resulting in $5K having to be returned to the IRS. The worst part is that my wife and I (not tax “experts”) told the “expert” that her calculations made no sense as we were going through the process. I had the pleasure of being helped by Joan Hernandez and he was a delight. He made going over every form easy and was more then happy to elaborate when I had questions. He was patient with me and never made me feel stupid wjen I asked basic questions. Ive never filed with H&R Block before but I definitely will be coming back again. 10/10 highly recommend!
My tax specialist was Alicia N. She was an amazing, kind, knowledgeable, over all wonderful person. She processes my info quickly and filed my returns with ease. I would recommend her to whomever needs their taxes processed, she is an incredible person.
Told me one price at the beginning and nearly doubled it by the end , you knew full and well how many w2s I was working with from the start yet used you that to justify such a price hike oh I just got a chance to look up some info on the bank card you use , the bank has the worst rating I've ever seen. It'd be nice if you'd take a little more care in the company you keep, I'll be cancelling that appointment for next year that you were so gracious to schedule for me
This review is more about the agent i received Alicia Neiderhiser than the location. She absolutely refused to work with us after learning my wife is Nigerian! Can you believe! Completely disrespected us and offended us. I don't blame h&r block as I've used them for maybe 15yrs now and never had a problem and everyone else working at this location was quite pleasant to work with.
