Zero stars actually because it was the worst experience I have ever had. Waited over an hour, no "sorry to keep you waiting" nothing. Then everything I presented to be documented I was told I could not use because it wouldn't make a difference. I had the same deductions for itemized before. Go figure. I would never use H and R Block or the preparer even if they were my only option, never. She talked more about herself and kept getting distracted. it was a total nuisance. Been doing my taxes with HR Block for more.that 15 years. Never had such a terrible experience like I had today. Not only did they lie saying they didn't have my appointment we waited almost an hour without explanation. Never again.
Elizabeth Young is amazing and I highly recommend her for your tax return. She explained the process and answered my questions. It was a quick and pleasant appointment. I already have my appointment booked with her for next year!
Update 2/14/25: Desiree was fabulous, so was the receptionist. The only reason for the low stars was the way the manager addressed me. She asked me questions that I didn’t really know simply because I’m not a tax accountant lol I don’t know what all the terms mean. What's the point of the online scheduler if you schedule the wrong date? Glad I noticed and was able to cancel. I'll be going to a different HR Block location.
