I was made the executer of the estate of my late mother. She had previously been a customer of H and R Block. I tried calling both locations in Rochester every day for a week during business hours and no one answered. One time I was asked to hold, quits rudely. I would think such a professional and nationwide brand would at least make sure their workers know basic phone etiquette. After holding 15 minutes the call suddenly dropped. I dropped off all of my tax information at this location and my taxes were never filed. I cannot get a hold of anyone to find out where all my documents are. I will also have to pay a penalty for late filing. I would not recommend to anyone.
Terrible experience. They laughed when I asked them about property taxes. Openly stated they didn't know how to do my taxes.
Least helpful place I’ve ever been to. Woman at the desk straight up laughed at me when she was asked a question. Offered essentially no assistance but still tried to convince us she would be helpful when we said we would do it ourselves. Embarrassing as a business, would never recommend to anyone. Disgusting.
