Walked in to ask a couple questions before making an appointment. Went up to reception, and was literally told “I can’t answer any of your questions” without even knowing what they were. My questions were regarding an appointment, not general tax questions. This receptionist was rude and didn’t seem interested in helping at all. 6pm appointment it is now 6:44pm. Wow!
Spent over 2 hours there. Twanda was nice, but seemed really confused about how to file my info. I'm self employed and work full-time both. Went to a different H&R Block office this year, and the accountant there realized most of my self employed info got filed totally wrong. So now I gotta refile last year before I can do this year. Ended up having to pay back several thousand that I had gotten as a refund that I shouldn't have, because she filed it wrong last year. Plus penalties. Advertising to do taxes for $89, charging almost $200, failing to get me a full return, and then claiming it wasn't their fault. Not a happy camper, will be contacting the better Business bureau. My name is Timothy Blandford, and Karen Jackson messed up my taxes, there was a whole 108.00 I didn't get from the state of West Virginia. Not a happy camper.
