Not worth it. They don't do anything but charge fees for no service at all. Save money and do it yourself or use Turbo Tax. All I wanted was an idea of what I could write off as a 1099 employee and I had to google that myself. What am I paying them to do? To fill in some blank spaces on some software? I can do that on Turbo tax for less. Then we attempted to explain this to their so called "area manager". She was extremely condescending and took her badge and almost hit us in the face with it. I've been coming to the SILVERADO & MARYLAND location for about 10 years. Ms. Loretta P. always goes above and beyond including staff to make sure my time spent & my taxes are handle with care. I went 2 days ago to file my taxes in this location been using H&R since 2010 . This will be the last time I use them it was a very bad experience there was absolutely no reason why the tax prepare Regina Ratchford was off 3 digits in my account didn’t realise it until I got back in my car to review my taxes not to mention I felt like things were rushed when I went back to let her know even the manager alleged my give the wrong account number and said now it make take a year for me to receive my tax return I’m that case why ... read more
Wouldn't recommend them at all. They forgot to submit my W2 to the state and had my wages garnished due to their mistake. It's been a long massive headache and time consuming.
My faithful tax lady has Ms Beth Mcgrath through high school, college, full on adulthood,and everything in between. Even when I moved I do my taxes remotely with her because I trust only her with my taxes. She is extremely kind, professional and personable. She is great and I am incredibly thankful for her service!
