As much I love my Tax Preparer Jose, he really does a great job, but the price HR Block charged was over the moon. $520 I had to pay today. I'm sorry, but that's a tat to much. And I'm willing to pay for good service. We only did a 1040, with no extra specials. If you are willing to pay that much money, I highly recommend Jose. Otherwise HR Block isn't for you.
They did a great job preparing my taxes, but $145? The cost H&R Block charges is a bit overpriced, in my opinion. But it is what it is...
