Extremely aggressive and rude via phone and completely unwilling to help and to come to the office to meet with me. I was asked for my SSN via phone, said that I would rather not give it via phone but in person and the person I was talking with kept saying that he was unwilling to come to the office just to meet with me and started complaining that I was not willing to share the SSN via phone. Used them once. Errors were made on our returns which resulted in a $600.00 interest fee. When we contacted H&R about it, there was no response. Still waiting! Also, they are holding one of our returns hostage, and won't respond or return it to us! Stay far away from this bunch!!! I can't give them lower than 1 star!
We were extremely upset with the transparency of HR block. There was a bate and switch. We called and specifically explained our situation what documents we had. We were quoted a price which we verified before we went in. When we went in we reiterated the price with the front desk which she verified. When we went back everything went smooth until we were told our total we needed to pay. The price went from $165 TO OVER $400.
