wish i could give this branch negative stars. went to file our taxes. got assigned to someone who literally had never filed taxes before. she said it was her first time ever doing this. i knew more about filing than she did. in the end, h&r block failed to schedule a payment date when filing. this resulted in my taxes being overdue and were not paid in time. when calling to get assistance for this issue in dealing with the IRS, H&R Block told me repeatedly it was my fault somehow. absolutely pathetic. i paid them a bunch of ... read more
In an effort to file our taxes, we wanted to try to file with H&R Block instead of Turbo Tax. Unfortunately, Turbo Tax would have given us better results, would have saved us time, and would have walked us through our taxes with more professionalism than we were met with. I've used Turbo Tax my entire tax paying life and never had one issue and the one year I tried H&R Block will be my last. My partner and I did our taxes the same night. I FINISHED first, then HR block sent me an email saying I could refer someone and get $300 back “up to “ I told my partner, as I walked outside to claim it. Her tax person said not enough time has passed. She was also unable to claim it. Hr provided false information, with to many small details. It’s shady and sneaky.
David helped me out today and I can not say more nice things about him, everything was nice and smooth I will definitely be coming back
