Here is the thing about endocrinology, it takes time to be seen. HPW of Bloomington is by far the quickest in the industry. I have been diabetic for over 20 years and would have to wait 6+hours for appointments with other endocrinologists, not even to mention the waitlist to get in. I was able to get into them within weeks and the wait time to see the Dr is minimal by industry standards. Very upset from their service. I have appointments at 11:15 am and it was 1:10 n they just put me in room no one come n see me. Even I am on fast because they want blood test and they still not care about that. I think they not value a people time I go n check two time like how long n all but still no answer. I recently started going here, I have never had such a terrible experience with any sort of doctor in my life. When you come in you have to wait at least an extra 2 hours before you can even get a chance to get to a back room, then you must wait at least another hour to see Dr. Pittman. I have been a patient here for several years. While the actual medical care has managed what I need well, the managment of the office is horrid. You wait 2-3 hours past your appointment time. You will also go months fighting with the office staff to get them to submit prior authorizations. This has resulted in me navigating the world unmedicated for weeks at a time as a diabetic, that is completely unacceptable. Office managment is horrid, they never answer the phone. Dr. Pittman is amazing and very thorough. He got my A1C to a normal level in less than 7 months and helped me lose a significant amount of weight. Everyone in his office is very kind. Highly recommend.
