I’m from out of town and while visiting my mother who lives in Bathurst I had to take her to emergency. I was horrified at the state of this hospital!! DIRTY, run down, disgusting! Three security guards sitting in their little front area just sitting around. Maybe get rid of two guards and hire cleaners!! Used kleeenex on the floor, debris, a local man sitting in the waiting room with me pointed out to ants crawling around the floor! Did not feel like I was in a Canadian hospital! Unreal! We were passing through on holiday from Ontario, and my husband went to the ER with a skin infection the size of a pie plate. The docs suspected a Lyme infection due to a tick bite. They did bloodwork to rule out a more serious infection, sent away for a lyme test, and prescribed antibiotics. We were in and out in 3 hrs. The staff were kind, polite, and efficient. Great job.

If I could put a picture I would. They took my moms staples out after her BRAIN SURGERY. But forgot some. This is just one of the "small" issues lol. If you want to live. Don't go there 🤷‍♀️
